DOCUMENT 000901 - ADDENDUM NO. 1 Date: July 23, 2026 To: Prospective Bidders From: MJR Environmental, Inc. 31 Hillcrest Drive Sugar Grove, Illinois 60554 (630) 253-3375 Subject: Addendum No. 1 Project: UST System Replacement Project Public Works Facility 1151 Kilbourne Road Gurnee, Illinois MJR Project No. 304-01 This Addendum forms a part of the bidding and contract documents and modifies the original bidding documents, dated July 9, 2026. All other information pertaining to this Bid shall remain the same. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in space provided on the Proposal (Bid Form), Page P-3. Failure to do so may subject bidder to disqualification. Item No. 1- Cameras: The Village will purchase and install (and position) six (6) cameras on various locations on the new canopy structure. Contractor shall furnish and route shielded CAT-6A cables; Category 6A F/UTP twisted pair gel-filled cable, outdoor, aluminum tape shield, 4 pair count, length to fit, or approved equal, in secure conduit(s) to the following canopy camera locations:  One (1) camera location to each of the four (4) corners of the underside of the new canopy.  One camera location to each of the two (2) canopy columns. Route column camera cables to hand-holes at locations 13’-0” to 14’-0” above new pavement surface grade. Contractor shall furnish and install an 8-port patch panel Keystone Coupler CAT6A shielded (UL listed) wall mount 10”, with 89D bracket ethernet patch panel, or approved equal. Furnish and install a new 18” x 24” x 6” deep cable box to house the patch panel and duplex power outlet on the interior north wall of the mechanical room adjacent to the new power panel. Addendum No.1 UST System Replacement Work July 9, 2026 Village of Gurnee Public Works 000901-1 Contractor shall ensure the system is properly grounded and provide cable certification meeting industry standards and regulations. Certification shall guarantee that cables can support the required data speeds, reduce signal loss, and maintain network reliability. Certified cables shall also allow interoperability between components from different manufacturers, ensuring a structured cabling system performs as expected. Route interior conduit(s) to the IT room south of the mechanical room. See Item No. 3 for shop drawing requirements. Remove the specified purchase and installation of four (4) cameras from your bid.
