County of Northampton is seeking proposals for retirement and pension actuarial consulting services. The County's objective is to engage the services of an actuarial firm with public plan experience to provide comprehensive actuarial services plan for the performance and other regular duties as directed by County of Northampton. The successful firm will be asked to begin approximately September 2026. County of Northampton is a Third-Class County with a diverse population of over 300,000 residents. There are approximately 1500 employees and 1600 retired former employees and dependents eligible or receiving benefits, and approximately 400 people who have left employment, but are vested and can claim their pension benefit once they reach their superannuation age. Proposal specifications are outlined in the following sections.
