Nature of Project The Commissioners Court of Nueces County (hereinafter called the “County”) will accept sealed competitive bids for Road Materials in accordance with the testing requirements, Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by Nueces County. Nueces County will accept sealed competitive bids for furnishing asphaltic concrete patching material, flexible base, aggregate materials, hot mix asphaltic concrete, solvent-based emulsion primer, and emulsified asphalt for various County locations. The County reserves the right to have the materials delivered or to pick it up at the Bidder’s shipping point. The award of this contract will be made to the Bidder who provides the lowest and best bid cost meeting specifications. The term of this Agreement will be for twelve (12) months with the option to renew. Each renewal; if mutually acceptable to the Bidder and Nueces County; will be in twelve (12) month increments, not to exceed two (2) additional years past the initial te
