Key Dates Bid deadline: April 30th, 2026 Payment must be received within Ten (10) Days of Bid Award Notification Vehicle Removal Deadline: May 30th, 2026 2. Summary The Town of Wilton is seeking sealed bids to dispose of a 2009 Freightliner Truck and its associated 11 FT Reversable Front Plow, and 10 Foot Wing Plow. An open “Invitation for Bids” process was selected to give the public a fair opportunity to obtain the vehicle in question while ensuring the Town of Wilton gains remaining monetary value in the vehicle. This vehicle and equipment will be “sold as is” and the Town of Wilton will only accept minimum bids in the amount of $5000. Scheduled inspections of the vehicle will be permitted in coordination with the Wilton Public Works Director. It is the town’s intent that this IFB shall permit competition.
