The abandonment of Pump Station 50, including installation of doghouse manhole over existing city interceptor for the purpose of rerouting the station’s influent gravity main, filling and abandonment of existing forcemain including air release valve, and demolition of existing pump station to a depth of 5 feet below grade including concrete drive and pavement. Remaining structures will be filled with CDF or flowable fill as specified in the Project Drawings, with top soil provided as required to match existing grade. These areas will be seeded, fertilized, and mulched. Items within demolition area to be salvaged are listed on the Project Drawings. The Work will require temporary bypass pumping for completion, and will be routed as shown in the Project Drawings.
