NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lyon County, as Owner, invites and will receive proposal (bids), including any and all addenda, in a sealed envelope addressed to: AtkinsRéalis 10615 Professional Circle, Reno #106, NV 89521 2026 SILVER SPRINGS WWTP SLUDGE POND 2 CLEANING PROJECT BIDS ENCLOSED – DO NOT OPEN Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. local time on Monday, November 2nd, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. This project includes the dredging, dewatering, and disposal of approximately 165 dry tons of sludge from Sludge Pond 2 at the Silver Springs Wastewater Treatment Plant in Silver Springs, Nevada. Hauling and disposal of the dewatered sludge shall be to the Lockwood Regional Landfill. The Contractor will have 190 calendar days from the notice to procced to complete this scope of work in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Project Cost for removal of sludge from Pond 2, dewatering, and transport of sludge to Lockwood Landfill is $440,000. The Public Works Project Number is PWP-LY-2027-019. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: AtkinsRéalis, 10615 Professional Circle, Reno #106, NV 89521, Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m from October 2nd, 2026 to November 2nd, 2026, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office during this timeframe. A pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. local time on October 27th, 2026 at the Lyon County Utility Department Office at 34 Lakes Blvd, Dayton, NV 89403. After a presentation, there will be an opportunity to visit the site, request information or collect sludge samples. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
