The City of Lawrence wishes to receive proposals for Benefit Brokerage Services.Current Benefit Overview –Medical - The City’s medical and PBM are administered by Aetna. The City’s dental plan is administered by Delta Dental. One plan is available (includes medical, dental, and Rx) to employees with 4 tiers (Employee, Employee + Spouse, Employee + Child(ren), and Employee + Family). The plan is not grandfathered under the PPACA. The City’s insurance plans are self-funded. Lawrence’s Stop Loss carrier is SunLife and is put up for bid each year. Individual Stop Loss is 125,000.Section 125 FSA Accounts – Healthcare and Dependent Care accounts are available. It is administered by Inspira Financial Health Inc.Life Insurance – Optional Life Insurance is offered through Mutual of Omaha. Employees are already offered life insurance through KPERS or death benefits through KP&F, as guaranteed by their position at the City.Ancillary Insurance – Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity are offered through Unum. Identity theft insurance is offered through Norton LifeLock.
