The purpose of this bid, and the requirement contract awarded following an evaluation of the bids received, is to provide up to 3,100,000 wet pounds (approximately 282,000 gallons) of sodium bisulfite solution for the purpose of dechlorinating the wastewater effluent flows at the Easterly Wastewater Treatment Plant, Southerly Wastewater Treatment Center and Westerly Wastewater Treatment Center (WWTPs), of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District (NEORSD). This contract is for a twelve (12) month period.
