BUSINESS DEPARTMENT RE: Fuel DATE: March 16, 2026 NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids for Fuel, addressed to Vanessa Phillips, Director of Operations, Jasper Independent School District, 128 Park St, Jasper, TX. 75951 will be received at the above address in the Business Office until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read. Bid forms may be obtained from the administration office, 128 Park St, Jasper, TX. 75951, telephone (409) 382-1065, during hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Bid forms may also be obtained from the Jasper ISD website, www.jasperisd.net. BID ENVELOPES SHALL BE PLAINLY MARKED: “Sealed Competitive Bid for Fuel Attention: Vanessa Phillips Do not open until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2026” Any bid received later than the specified time, whether delivered in person or mailed, shall be disqualified. Bids may be submitted on any/or all items. The District reserves the right to reject any/or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Jasper Independent School District and to waive any informalities in bidding. Fuel Competitive Sealed Bid Specifications 1. The term of the Fuel Contract will be from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027. The estimated number of gallons needed for this period will be 42,000. Quantities required are substantially correct and the District reserves the right to purchase more or less than the estimate at the contract price. The agreement may be renewed for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods at the option of the District. 2. Deliveries required in this bid shall be freight prepaid, FOB destination, and bid prices shall include all freight and delivery charges. Destination for deliveries is Jasper ISD Transportation Dept., 204 Bulldog Ave, Jasper, Texas. 3. Payment to vendor for fuel delivered before the end of the month will be paid within thirty (30) days. No additional fees, such as carrying charges will be allowed. 4. Bids will be for 87% octane rated unleaded gasoline and #2 clear diesel fuel. Bidders will bid an amount above their dock (rack) price or price locked in for the duration of the contract. This amount will remain the same for the contract period, taking into consideration the items, and services listed above. Jasper ISD may ask for documentation, at any time during the contract period to support the “Dock Price” to the vendor. 5. Bids may be submitted on both types of fuels or one type of fuel. 6.
