2026-010 Competitive Youth Soccer Programming

NOTICE TO ALL PROVIDERS OF COMPETITIVE YOUTH SOCCER PROGRAMMING Pursuant to § 255.065, Florida Statutes, the City of Margate, Florida hereby notices receipt of an unsolicited proposal for the development, operation, and management of a comprehensive youth soccer and multi-sport community programming platform.  The City will accept competing proposals from qualified providers of this same service until 11:00 a.m., local time on Thursday, October 29, 2026.  All interested and qualified providers are invited to submit a proposal that at minimum includes, but is not limited to, assumption of the sole provider role for competitive youth soccer within the City, collaborative support of and partnership with the City’s existing municipal recreational soccer programs that utilize City-owned recreational facilities and fields, establishment and maintaining of required staffing, finances, programming, facilities maintenance, and fulfilment of all other associated obligations. Competing proposals submitted to the City shall at a minimum meet the unsolicited proposal approval requirements stated in § 255.065(4), Florida Statues.  Additionally, interested parties are advised that the City’s primary focus related to these services is the offering of an affordable option for the families of participating youths, particularly those participating youths residing in Margate.  Preference will be given to proposals best addressing that focus.
