What is the project timeline? Respondents should include a project timeline in their proposal, however, the City expects completion of the project no more than 120 days from NTP. 2. When will the project be awarded? The goal is to award in July, however, the number of proposals received may impact award date. 3. Are there any known drainage issues? Not at this time. Everything appears to currently drain down the hill into the city storage yard. 4. What should vendors do with topsoil? Topsoil shall be removed by contractors. City will provide haul off and help coordinate topsoil removal. Contractor will be responsible for loading topsoil into City trucks for haul off. 5. Will city provide line locate? Please see the sketch on page 3 showing existing water mains. Water and sewer services can be marked by city crews as required. Bidders are required to have typical utility locates performed for all utilities including power prior to design or construction. 6. How should contractor transition TDP flooring to grass? City does not have a preference and is looking for recommendations from vendors for this. 7. What should vendors do with 6-inch storm drain located throughout the park? Roof drains and other storm drains will be addressed during construction. Page | 1 8. What percentage is the bid bond? 5% 9. Any structures or equipment we have a preference to include in the proposal? No. 10. Are we aware of any local accessibility grants? Not at this time, however, respondents are encouraged to research on their own and any additional support may be used to enhance their proposal. 11. How do we want the entrance done leading into the sidewalk? Final playground must indicate a full ADA compliant route from the playground to the playground features. Bidders are free to recommend entrance options. Updates to section 5.27 in the RFP 5.27 Documents Deemed Part of Contract Unless otherwise modified by the contract, the City of Dahlonega’s Request for Proposal issued April 6, 2026, and any addendum issued thereto shall be deemed part of the contract.
