2025 Water Harvest Community Festival

Proposals are being accepted by West Basin Municipal Water District (West Basin) for an event production consultant to assist with the planning and execution of the 2025 Water Harvest Community Festival, which will focus on the 30th anniversary of the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility (ECLWRF).A two-year proposal should be included for two Water Harvest Festival events for Saturday, October 25, 2025, and on a Saturday in October in 2026, which is TBD.The consultant will support West Basin staff in planning the event during the months leading up to the festival and will provide necessary staff to work the day of the event. Duties on event day will include implementing the activities of the festival, set up, staffing certain booths, and tear down. The Consultant will support the event theme with décor to transform the event space according to the Scope of Services provided in Exhibit “A” for an expected 1,250 visitors. The level of effort for this project is from June through November 2025.For a complete description of all required services and deliverables, please see the attached detailed Scope of Services (Exhibit “A”).Historically, community outreach is a fundamental part of West Basin’s mission, and the District hosts its annual free, family-oriented community event in October that focuses on water education and environmentally focused activities. It features engaging stage shows, tours of the District’s water recycling facility, and educational booths hosted by relevant organizations from the service area. Last year’s event garnered over 1,200 attendees.The community festival will be held in-person at the ECLWRF in the City of El Segundo, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
