Proposers must register at https://southportland.gov/Bids.aspx. *REGISTRATION CAN BE COMPLETED VIA THE "VIEW DOCUMENTS" BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE* City of South Portland, Maine RFB 12-27 2025 OR NEWER FORD HYBRID POLICE INTERCEPTOR OR EQUAL Notice and Specifications Bids for a 2025 OR NEWER FORD HYBRID POLICE INTERCEPTOR OR EQUAL for the South Portland Police Department shall be submitted electronically to  with the name of the Bidder, Contract Name and Bid number in the subject line and will be received until 2:00 p.m., October 15th, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read.  Proposals may also be submitted via USPS, UPS or FedEx to the City of South Portland, Purchasing Agent, 25 Cottage Rd., South Portland ME 04106. It is the offeror’s sole responsibility to ensure that their proposal is submitted prior to the date and time specified. Late proposals shall not be accepted. Bids shall remain open to acceptance for ninety (90) days from their opening. Proposals shall be submitted on the City provided proposal form, being signed with the firm’s name, and bearing the handwritten signature of an officer or authorized individual having the authority to bind the company to a contract by his/her signature. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Purchasing Agent and be received by 12:00 noon on October 8th, 2026 - these may be mailed, hand delivered or e-mailed to . The Purchasing Agent will be the only person issuing any changes to this Invitation.  All changes, addenda, will be in writing and will be sent only to those firms on file with the Purchasing Agent as having received this document.  The City shall not be responsible for any oral interpretation given by City personnel or others. Bids from vendors not registered with the Purchasing Agent may be rejected; Respondents must be registered to submit a proposal or their proposals may not be accepted. Prices quoted shall be F.O.B., South Portland, Maine, and shall include ALL costs of transportation, no additional fuel surcharges/fees shall be applied.
