ORLANDO SANFORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SANFORD AIRPORT AUTHORITY ADMIN GENERATOR REPLACEMENT NOTICE TO BIDDERS/ INVITATION FOR BIDS SANFORD AIRPORT AUTHORITY NOTICE TO BIDDERS/INVITATION FOR BIDS #2024-030-ITB-CB The Sanford Airport Authority, hereinafter called "Owner," hereby requests sealed bids for the "Sanford Airport Authority Admin Generator Replacement” (Project), at ORLANDO SANFORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. The project can generally be described: The project consists of the removal of two (2) 400 KW generators, automatic transfer switches and associated equipment and the installation of one (1) new 400 KW generator, automatic transfer switch and associated equipment. The SAA facility currently utilizes (2) 400 KW Generac diesel generators connected in parallel to provide emergency power to the Main Emergency Distribution (MED) panelboard via two (2) automatic transfer switches (ATS-1 and ATS-2). The system is designed for redundancy and only one generator will be running at a time. The existing equipment is starting to reach end of life and is requiring extra maintenance and shutdowns and therefore require replacement. The time of completion for the Project work is anticipated to be 75 calendar days to achieve Substantial Completion. The Sanford Airport Authority is only accepting electronic sealed response submissions. Once you have completed account registration, browse back to the Project page, click on "Submit Response", and follow the instructions to submit the electronic response. Responses will be accepted up to Monday, September 23, 2024 @ 2:30 p.m., at which time all responses received will be publicly opened, the contents noted and read aloud. The opening will take place at the Sanford Airport Authority, Welcome Center Large Conference room which is located on the 2nd floor of the Welcome Center. The Welcome Center is located across the street from the Main Terminal (the Rental Car Agencies are located in the Welcome Center as well) at 1200 Red Cleveland Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773.
