ORLANDO SANFORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AIRFIELD ELECTRICAL UPGRADES PROJECT NOTICE TO BIDDERS/ INVITATION TO BID SANFORD AIRPORT AUTHORITY NOTICE TO BIDDERS/INVITATION FOR BIDS The Sanford Airport Authority, hereinafter called "Owner," hereby requests sealed bids for the "AIRFIELD ELECTRICAL UPGRADES” (Project), at the ORLANDO SANFORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. The project can be generally described as: Removal of existing displaced threshold lights and base cans at the 9L end of RW and installation of new displaced threshold lights, base cans, and conduit. Above ground conduit located at TW A and L shall be removed and replaced with concrete encased conduit below pavement surface. Existing TW edge fixtures shall be removed, and new LED TW edge fixtures shall be installed on new base cans. The time of completion for the Airfield Electrical Upgrades Project is anticipated to be 105 calendar days to achieve Substantial Completion. Electronic Sealed Bids will be accepted on the Owner’s online procurement webpage up to 2:00 p.m., local time, July 29, 2022, at which time all bids received will be publicly opened, the contents noted and read aloud. The opening will take place at the Sanford Airport Authority, 2nd Floor Boardroom, 1200 Red Cleveland Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773. On and after June 30, 2022, Bid Documents will be available electronically and may be obtained on the Sanford Airport Authority’s webpage: https://flysfb.com/procurement/solicitations/ or by contacting Roberta Stanton, Procurement Agent, Phone: 407-585-4020; Email: procurement@osaa.net (hard copies are not available). Bidders must be registered through OpenGov/ProcureNow on the Sanford Airport Authority’s online procurement webpage to be eligible to submit a Bid for the project. A complete examination and understanding of the drawings and specifications contained in the Bid Documents is necessary in order for the Bidder to properly submit a Bid. The Bid Documents also include a detailed set of Instructions to Bidders. All Bids shall be prepared in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The failure to comply with any requirement contained in the Bid Documents may result in the rejection of the Bid as nonresponsive or a finding that the Bidder is not qualified for this Project.
