The work in general consists of the Base Schedule and one alternate. The work on the Base Schedule consists of replacing asphalt concrete surfacing (digouts), placing hot mix asphalt overlay, and the placement of pavement striping along various roads in Yuba County. The alternate work consists of grading, placing aggregate base, placing hot mix asphalt overlay, and the placement of shoulder backing material. Other such items or details not mentioned above that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions, and as directed by the Engineer, shall be performed, placed, constructed or installed.
