2020 Street Improvements

Description

The City of Balch Springs is currently requesting Bids for the construction of Street Improvements. The project consists of various asphalt and concrete improvements on Platte Drive, Quail Drive, Carla Drive, Nan Jones Avenue, Marriott Avenue, and Stein Street within Balch Springs (varying 13’ to 30’ wide). This project will require approximately 18,000 SY of asphalt and 4,500 LF of concrete curb and gutter. Approximately 160 SY of concrete sidewalk and 480 SY of concrete driveway will be installed. Pavement markings will be added along Platte Drive and Quail Drive. Stop bars will be added on all affected road sections along Platte Drive along with 12 pedestrian ramps. 1,422 LF of yellow pavement markings will be placed along Quail Drive. The Project is to be substantially complete and ready for operation with 100 calendar days.
