The City’s primary objective is to execute a tree pruning and tree services contract for the period of four (4) years with three (3) of two (2) year renewals to assure a safe and healthy urban forest. The scope of work encompasses the current inventoried tree populations of approximately 55,000 trees in 35 CFD/LLD districts, General Fund areas, streets and landscapes, 95 parks and 2 municipal golf courses, and City facilities. The urban street tree population is currently growing due to additional development in the West Plan area of Roseville which will be added to the contract later when the City takes these areas over for maintenance. Services being requested are routine cycle (grid) pruning for the inventoried tree population. The City’s goal is to achieve a 5-year routine (grid) pruning cycle which could change due to funding availability. Opportunities for extra work are available but are not guaranteed.
