The County of Calaveras Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations to provide comprehensive psychiatric services for its Behavioral Health programs. The selected Contractor shall operate as an independent entity, retaining full control over staffing, supervision, and service delivery methods, subject to the County's service requirements, access standards, and performance outcomes. This is not a sealed bid or low-bid process. Award will be made to the Proposer offering the best value to the County. Technical merit is weighted more heavily than cost, though cost will be considered in determining the most advantageous proposal. Calaveras County provides Behavioral Health services to Medi-Cal and non-Medi-Cal populations and has experienced ongoing challenges recruiting and retaining sufficient psychiatric staff.
