The County of Calaveras (“County”) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive Construction Management (CM), and Owner’s Representative services for the construction of the new Calaveras County Animal Shelter. The County seeks a highly qualified Construction Manager that will serve as an extension of the County’s project management team and act in the County’s best interests throughout construction. The selected firm shall provide proactive project leadership, cost control, schedule management, quality assurance, risk management, and contractor oversight to ensure successful delivery of the project. The County intends to award a contract to the firm that demonstrates the best overall value, qualifications, relevant experience, project understanding, staffing plan, and approach to managing public construction projects. This is not a low-bid procurement.
