The County of Calaveras invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the Rock Creek Landfill Weather Structure Projects located at Rock Creek Landfill. The purpose of this project is to construct two prefabricated steel clear-span I-beam construction weather protection structures to reduce stormwater exposure of materials and bins in support of the landfill’s Best Management Practices (BMPs) and recommendations identified in the Level 2 Exceedance Response Action Technical Report date November 2025. These structures will reduce particulate levels during stormwater events and help mitigate potential regulatory and fiscal risks to Rock Creek Landfill.
