The Board will take all information under advisement but generally will not take any action unless it is emergent in nature. COMMISSIONER ACTIONS - Approval of Resolution 26-10 Leasing Policy - Approval of Resolution 26-11 Handling of EFTs Policy - Approval of Resolution 26-12 Credit Card Processing Fee Policy 1. Leasing Policy For the last few years, the Port has had very few actual leases to administer. Whidbey Island Grown, the Black Box Theater were the only two leases in place. All of the rest of our tenants were either rental agreements or license agreements. As the Port continues to lease additional properties it is important to codify a leasing policy. Staff has provided a draft policy for your review and accompanying resolution. 2. EFT Policy The State Auditor’s Office recommends creating a formal EFT Policy (electronic funds transfer). At this time the only EFT activity the Port has is direct deposit payroll. In talking to the County Treasurer there may come a time in the future that we want to pay vendors and all taxes using EFT. Because of this we need to create a policy that addresses approval processes for transfers.
