flysyracuse.com Syracuse Regional Airport Authority Syracuse Hancock International Airport Authority AIRPORT TERMINAL ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN SERVICES IFB Reference # SRAA RFQ 2022-07 Responses To Inquires: Question 1: Understanding that the RFQ generally references “architectural” services, is it correct to assume that engineering services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) may also be required on some projects? Including these professional services could help meet W/MBE and SDVOB goals. Answer 1: The RFQ is for Architectural Design Services. The selected consultant will act as the prime consultant on projects awarded to the consultant. The need for other disciplines involvement will be dependent on the awarded project SOW and SRAA requested deliverable. Question 2: Are estimates services anticipated as part of this term agreement? Answer 2: Engineer Estimates for Projects Construction/Rehabilitation will be part of project SOW Question 3: Any environmental services anticipated? Answer 3: Required Environmental Efforts (EA, CATEX, SEQR) will be included in the SOW for design services, should the project require these efforts. Question 4: When do you anticipate the term service agreement to commence? For what duration? Answer 4: The term service agreement will commence upon the selection of the most qualified consultant. We anticipate this to be around June 20. The duration of the term service agreement is anticipated at 3 years; however, it is the sole discretion of the Syracuse Regional Airport Authority to determine the duration of this agreement. Term Duration shall be negotiated upon selection. Anticipated initial term of 3 years. Question 5: Are hard copies required for this submission or is it acceptable to only submit an electronic submission? Answer 5: RFQ allows for both, however electronic submission is required.
