The selected consultant will act as the prime consultant on projects awarded to the consultant. The need for other disciplines involvement will be dependent on the awarded project SOW and SRAA requested deliverable. Question 2: The RFQ indicates a diversity participation of 30% MWBE, 6% SDVOB and 11.2% DBE on federally funded projects. If the RFP is for Architectural services only, the total diversity participation rate of 47.2% is quite a large percentage for one discipline to absorb. Answer 2: The SRAA has established goals on all SRAA and NYS funded projects/contracts of a combined 30% MWBE and 6% SDVOB utilization. The selected Firm will be required to show their good faith efforts in soliciting, obtaining, or partnering with MWBE and SDVOB firms for participation on projects. The DBE utilization goal of 11.2% is specific to federally funded projects. When federal dollars are funding a project, only the DBE utilization goal is enforced.
