Information published here becomes part of the solicitation and is official and final. Vendors are to acknowledge the receipt of all addenda in their submission. ITEM 1: REVISION: No revisions. ITEM 2: VENDOR QUESTIONS RECEIVED AND ANSWERED: Q1. Can additional line items be added to the bid for allocation of costs for mobilization, soil erosion and sedimentation control, tree protection, survey, restoration, etc.? A1. A new bid form has been attached to this addendum. The total base bid amount should be the total of the extensions of all the bid items Q2. Can the County provide details for the catch basin? A2. The basin is a standard 2’ diameter by 4’ deep precast concrete basin with EJIW or equal cast iron inlet frame and cover. Q3. The bid specs state there are soil boring included. Can this information be provided? A3. See attached geotechnical report. Q4. Spec, “Preparation” Section 02200, 3.2, B states SESC is shown on the drawings. Can the County clarify where these are or provide them? A4. Disregard this requirement. No SESC measures are required except for mulch blanket as mentioned below. Q5. Spec, “Excavation” Section 02200, 3.2, E, there is a minimum soil bearing pressure requirement, please clarify if this spec pertains to this project? A5. Disregard this requirement. Page 1 of 2 Q6. The drawings call for 6-in dia. And 8-in dia., can you clarify which is correct? A6. 6” flexible pipe is to be used in the underdrainage trench. 8” pipe is to be used for the culvert under the road. Q7. Does the project require bonds or prevailing wage? A7. Prevailing wage is not required. Section 3 defines the need for bonds. A bid bond is not required. Performance and Payment bonds are required if the bid is over $50,000. Q8. Where on site can material and equipment be staged? A8. This will be determined with the selected contractor and the owner based on the contractor’s work plan and park operational requirements. Reasonable requests will be accommodated with the requirement that all areas disturbed by the contractor will be restored to similar conditions. Q9.
