06 Multi-Site Flooring Project

Description

The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District (Metro Fire or the District) is seeking written bids from qualified contractors holding a current and valid California State C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering contractors’ license (Contractor or Bidder) for the replacement of the existing flooring in multiple Metro Fire fire stations. Due to budgetary constraints, the total project cost will dictate the final number of stations that will undergo a flooring replacement in the District’s 2021/2022 budget year. The District reserves the right to remove Stations from the scope of this project. Contractors shall provide services in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations in addition to adhering to all applicable Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH / Cal/OSHA) guidelines.This is a public works project and is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). To be eligible to submit a bid, the Contractor must be registered with the DIR as a Public Works Contractor (PWC) prior to the bid submission deadline. All required contractors’ licenses and Contractor PWC registration statuses shall remain current and valid through the duration of the project.
