Syracuse Hancock International Airport HVAC Replacement RFP #2023-06 Addendum No. 2 JUNE 14, 2023 1. INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL HOLDERS OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS flysyracuse.com ADDENDUM NO. 02 TO ALL HOLDERS OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS Your attention is directed to the following interpretations of, changes and additions to the Contract Documents for the project, “HVAC Replacement” at Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR) in Syracuse, New York. This Addendum constitutes part of the Contract Documents. Should conflicts occur between the Specifications or Drawings with items in the Addendum, the Addendum shall govern. Bidders shall examine carefully all items and determine for themselves what sub-bidders are affected, and notify all bidders or sub-bidders of clarifications, interpretations, or revisions affecting their work. Work described in this Addendum shall be in accordance with specifications for like items unless stated otherwise. 2. RFI #1 RESPONSE: o Can the assessment take place post bid? The assessment may not take place post bid as it should inform your decision on what improvements to propose and how to price. The assessment is meant to illustrate that the proposer has gained a working knowledge of the existing system through research of documents provided and information gathered at the mandatory walkthrough. o Can you provide a guide as to how much grant money is available for this project for this year? SRAA has been awarded an $8.6M grant that includes this HVAC scope as well as windows and siding replacement, which is being contracted separately. SRAA anticipates providing additional matching funds to cover costs not covered by the grant. Please note that the proposal should be for the entire system so SRAA can program the needed resources to complete the job in its entirety. o When would the first phase of the project need to be completed by? Construction is anticipated to start this year upon completion of design. Completion of the project will be based on the proposers phasing schedule. 3.
