Russell, City Clerk 4415 Center Street Acworth, Georgia 30101 (678) 801-4024 www.acworth-ga.gov IFB 2026-06 Acworth Due West/Ragsdale Road Multi Use Trail Project Addendum 1 July 28, 2026 The purpose of this addendum is to address questions that have been received regarding Invitation for Bids 2026-06 Acworth Due West/Ragsdale Road Multi Use Trail Project. The following questions were received, and the responses follow: 1. Please confirm a bid bond will need to be provided with the bid. a. Confirmed 2. f the bid bond is required, does the city have a bid bond form that will need to be utilized? Or will a bid bond form from the Surety suffice? a. A standard bid bond form from a Surety office will suffice. 3. Please confirm if the city will require the contractors to utilize the recommended installers of the Permatrak system. a. The contractor may present an option from a different system for approval by the City. 4. Please confirm that the helical piers are to be handled by the contractor. In some places it says “by others. a. Helical piers are to be handled by the contractor. 5. Please confirm if this contract is considered lump sum as opposed to unit price. The bid form reads as a lump sum project. The bid docs say that upon award, the contractor is to submit quantities. a. The contract will be a unit-price contract. Contractor will submit quantities as requested after the award of bid. For additional clarification, the water line work will also be unit-price with Cobb County Water System responsible for accepting and approving the invoicing of that work.
