Town of Surfside RFP 2026-05 COMMUNITY CENTER POOL DECK TILE REPLACEMENT PROJECT Addendum No. 1 Date Issued: April 13, 2026 To All Respondents: This Addendum No. 1 forms a part of Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2026-05 and modifies the original solicitation documents. All Respondents shall acknowledge receipt of this Addendum on RFP Form 1 – Proposal Form Package Acknowledgements. 1. Exhibit “B” – Sample Agreement A Sample Agreement is hereby provided as part of this Addendum for reference purposes only. The Sample Agreement establishes the general terms and conditions that are expected to form the basis of the final Agreement between the Town and the selected Contractor. The final Agreement shall be subject to negotiation and approval by the Town and may include revisions based on the specific scope of work, pricing, and other terms agreed upon by the parties. Respondents shall review the Sample Agreement and include any comments or requested revisions as part of their Proposal, if applicable. 2. Responses to Questions The Town has compiled responses to questions received at the Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference and all written questions submitted by the established deadline. The questions and responses are provided below and are hereby incorporated into the RFP. No additional questions will be accepted following the issuance of this Addendum. If a Respondent submitted a question prior to the deadline and does not see their question addressed below, the Respondent shall notify the Office of the Town Clerk in writing within 48 hours of the issuance of this Addendum. Failure to do so shall constitute a waiver of any claim related to the omission of such question or response. QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES Q1: Can the Town provide guidance on the preferred pool deck tile type or finish? A1: The Town has identified a preferred tile aesthetic and performance standard for the Project. A sample reference product is the “Strata Blue Mix Anti-Slip Glass Pool Tile” by Oasis Tile. This reference is provided for design intent purposes only. Proposers may submit equivalent products that meet or exceed the performance requirements of the Project, including slip resistance, durability, and suitability for exterior pool deck applications. All proposed materials shall be subject 1 to review and approval by the Town.
