Town of Surfside Request for Proposals RFP No. 2019-03 Town of Surfside RFP for Downtown LED Lighting Upgrade Addendum No. 1 Date Issued: December 9, 2019 To All Proposers: Proposers for the above-referenced RFP shall take note of the following changes, additions, deletions, clarifications or questions and answers to RFP No. 2019-02, which in accordance with the RFP Documents shall become a part of and have precedence over anything shown or described otherwise in the RFP. 1. Question: How long ago were conduits installed for the outlets and the palm lights? Answer: Conduits were installed in 2014 2. Question: Can the conduits be reused? Answer: Yes, as required. They are 2”PVC Conduits 3. Question: Service point on 95 Street was locked and unable to inspect. Can you please provide pictures of the interior? Answer: See pictures attached. We recommend the proposers to set up a site visit with Town of Surfside Public Work representative if there is any further question or concern. 4. Question: Is the town aware of any underground damages? Answer: No 5. Can you provide a CAD file or site plan of the downtown Harding street corridor? Answer: We do not have CAD files of the project. Can you provide a Cad file or site or Survey plan For Veterans Park more specifically the flag portion? Answer: See response to item #5 7. Since the LED roadway lights were recently retrofitted and will be combined with potentially new pedestrian lights. Can you provide the Make and Model with a spec sheet of the new LED roadway product the City has installed? Answer: Please see attached information on fixture installed. 8. Can you provide the IES file of the LED roadway product installed by the City on Harding street (RF question no 7.) ? Answer: Please contact light fixture manufacture for the IES files. All other documents, requirements, terms and conditions of the RFP remain the same. All proposers must acknowledge receipt of this Addendum No. 1 and submit a signed copy of this form with their proposal.
