02 Design-Build Addendum #1

ADDENDUM NO. 1 Design-Build RFP #26-2 Alhambra High School Upper Field, Track and Tennis Court Project Martinez Unified School District Martinez, California November 14, 2025 This addendum shall supersede all previously issued specifications, addenda, and drawings wherein this addendum contradicts previously issued documents. All other conditions remain unchanged. The following changes, modifications, corrections, clarifications, and / or additions as set forth herein shall apply to the above documents and shall be made a part thereof and shall be subject to all the requirements thereof as though originally specified and / or shown. GENERAL – ALL PROJECTS 1.01 Document Request for Proposals has been amended and included as an Addendum 1 attachment. Attachment includes additional add alternates to be included, clarification on the term “Building System” to moving forward be referred to as “Turf Field, Track, and Tennis Court Systems”. All Modular Building references can be ignored if deemed not applicable. 1.02 Document 01 22 00 ALTERNATES, UNIT PRICING, AND ALLOWANCES have been amended and included as an Addendum 1 attachment. Attachment includes additional add alternates to be included in Respondent Team’s DB Proposals. 1.03 Section 01 11 00 SUMMARY OF WORK item 1.05.B. “Permits” to be excluded. Design-Builder is responsible for all permits and fees as indicated throughout RFP documentation. 1.04 If Design-Builder observes any conflict within the RFP specifications, the more stringent requirement will govern. QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS – ALL PROJECTS 1.05 Will the contractor be responsible for utility use charges? Design-Builder is responsible for utility use charges as indicated in RFP documents. 1.06 Will the contractor be responsible for any building permit fees? It is the Design-Builder’s responsibility to coordinate with any local or governing agencies for any applicable permits and fees required for this project. All permits and fees are the responsibility of the Design-Builder. 1.07 Will the contractor be responsible for providing a separate office trailer for the inspector of record? Inspector of Record office trailer can be excluded from DB proposals as there will already be a trailer provided on another project adjacent to the upper field.
