September 3, 2024 City of Mercedes ADDENDUM NO. 2024-018 (A) Request for Proposals for Auditing Services Prospective Proposers and all concerned are hereby notified of the following changes in the Request for Proposals document for the above-listed RFP. These changes shall be incorporated in and shall become an integral part of the RFP documents. 1. Could you give us an average of the audit fees for the last three years? The average cost is estimated to be about $59,000 2. What are the budgeted fees FYE September 30,2024 for financial audit The budgeted amount is $65,000 3. Will the City be requiring additional services beyond the audit? Preparation of audit report? Assistance in preparation of financial statements, assistance in preparing closing journal entries, data collection from preparation? The preparation of the audit report and year-end adjustments 4. How many adjusting journal entries did the external auditors for the fiscal year ending September 30,2023, proposed for the financial audit? Less than 20 5. When will the FYE 09/30/2023 general ledger be ready for audit? Did you mean 2024? We will be ready end of October of this year 6. Bids and contracts website has a due date for proposal 09/3/2024; although the Bid#2024-018 pdf file has as due date 09/6/2024. Which is the correct due date for the proposal of bid#2024018? Correct date is 09/06/2024 7. Do you need the proposal fees separated by City and EDC? Yes, proposal fees need to be separated 6. Was there a management letter issued in 2023 by auditors? If yes, could we obtain a copy of it?
