At this time, our team does not currently hold this certification; however, we do have qualified personnel with relevant experience who are prepared to obtain the certification. If awarded the contract, would the City consider allowing a short grace period (approximately 30 days) for our staff to obtain the IMSA Level I Signs and Pavement Markings certification? The RFP states that an IMSA level II signal technician be assigned to the project, working under the supervision of an IMSA level III. Will a GA PE license be sufficient to meet the IMSA level III requirement? ANSWER No. The selected contractor will need to provide IMSA Level 1 certified staff upon award of the contract with an anticipated start date of July 01, 2026. Documentation must be submitted to the City as support. No, an IMSA Level III technician is required. Due to the expertise level on an IMSA Level III technician, the selected contractor does not need to have this individual on staff on July 01, 2026, but should have someone in place within 6months, or December 31, 2026. Once certified, documentation must be submitted to the City. 2
