If to be included in directional bore, will the city confirm the bore quantity shall be measured from pull box to pull box? Will a pay item be added for traffic signal timing? ANSWER A pay item will not be added for the NonMetal conduit. Please include the fee for the conduit in pay items 682-9950. Measurement shall be from the center of pull box to the center of pull box. 3 We need a UAS to properly bid the time on the project. This would include all utilities impacted. Will this be provided? 4 Typically these types of projects are bid per actual quantities not lump sum. Will this project be paid per items actually completed? Does waterline contractor have to be prequalified by the city or county? UAS are currently being developed by respective utility owners. This will be provided to the selected contractor. Considerations to the schedule will be reviewed once UAMs are received. Yes, this project is not lump sum and should be paid per items actually completed. How will weather days be calculated on the contract? No. Traffic Signal Timing shall be coordinated with the City. The selected contractor will need to coordinate with DeKalb Watershed whom provides a list of authorized vendors. Yes. Weather will not be accepted as a justifiable reason for extension of time unless such should be abnormal. The following chart represents the number of calendar days per month that are considered normal for rain and wet ground conditions preventing work from being performed. Days not worked due to rain or wet ground conditions beyond those listed may be considered for claims for adjustment of time.
