The Bridgeton Board of Education is requesting proposals from companies that provides a program to identify the Spanish language proficiency of newcomers and immigrant students. B. SCOPE OF SERVICEThe chosen agency shall provide a systematic blended model program designed to identify the Spanish language proficiency of Bilingual students (newcomers and immigrant), as well as an embedded academic component. The program must provide teachers and administrators the flexibility to administer the assessment using a paper version or electronically based on the technological proficiency of the students. The program will be used as one of the main variables to identify the Spanish language proficiency of newcomers and immigrant students in order to accurately pace students and monitor their progress.The assessments must use authentic, appropriate and standard Spanish, which will ensure proper evaluation of students.The program must measure the “Four Domains of Language”, and emphasize the following components:Reading Comp
