REVISED Bid Schedule – Bid Deadline Extended 1 2 QUESTION The last page in the addendum shows a breakdown of estimates per road. On that there is a column listed as “Estimated 9.5mm, 2” Lift.” However, in the Q&A of addendum 1, question #3 was answered saying that the 9.5mm is to be placed in a 1.5” lift. This also contradicts the answer to question #6, which states Kanawha Drive and Chedworth Drive will receive a 2” topping of 9.5mm and Spring Glenn Drive will receive a 1.25" topping of 9.5mm. Three different depths of 9.5mm are still being called out in various locations throughout the addendum. Would the city please clarify what the actual desired thickness (not minimal lift) of 9.5mm asphalt will be on each of the 29 listed roads? The patching tons in the pay item do not match the patching tons listed in the detailed estimate, which one is correct? ANSWER The majority of streets are to be topped with 1.5” of 9.5mm (up to 2.0” if determined by the City inspector). The two exceptions as noted in the Special Conditions are Spring Glen Dr and Chedworth Cove. These two streets will be milled 3”, install 1.75” of 19mm, and 1.25mm of 9.5mm. The summary of quantities remains unchanged from Addendum #1. The pay item is correct.
