Spanish Program for Students in Grades 6-8Project # RFP 25-005 A.  PURPOSEThe Bridgeton Board of Education is requesting proposals from companies that provide a comprehensive Spanish program to be utilized as the main resource for our Grades 6-8 World Language Spanish Curriculum.  The Program must support the four domains of language acquisition; reading, writing, listening and speaking.  The program must offer various levels of support and scaffolding for students learning Spanish, but at different stages of the language acquisition process. Scope: We are seeking an organization/company able to provide a systematic language art approached specifically designed to teach Spanish as a Foreign Language. The program must address phonological awareness, writing, reading, interpretation and comprehension. The program must address the New Jersey Learning Standards, and provide for differentiated instruction for students functioning on different academic levels; native Spanish speakers, as well as students learning Spanish as a Second language.
