PURPOSEThe Bridgeton Board of Education (District) is seeking competitive proposals from qualified agencies to provide skilled nursing services to students within the Bridgeton School District. SCOPE OF SERVICEThe selected agency shall provide medical related services for students with disabilities whose Individual Educational Plan (IEPs) indicate the need for such services, and for whom physicians’ recommendations have been received. Services shall begin and end with the students’ arrival and departure from school. If the students’ IEP requires the nurse to accompany the student on the school bus, the service shall begin and end on the bus with students’ ride to and from school.
