The work is located at the seawall at the street ends of the following streets in the Town of Surfside, FL: a. Southern Terminus of Carlyle Ave. c. End of 88th St. (Biscaya Dr.) on Biscaya Island b. d. Southern Terminus of Bay Dr. f. Western Terminus of 92nd St. e. Western Terminus of 90th St. g. Western Terminus of 93rd St. i. Western Terminus of 95th St. h. j. Project 05/14 Southern Terminus of Froude Ave. Western Terminus of 94th St. Seawall along Surfside Park 01010-1 12-5247 1.04 DESCRIPTION OF CONTRACT The following is a general list of the work included. It is not intended to be complete. Consult the contract drawings and specifications for all contract requirements. A. B. Seismic monitoring of construction operations E. Extension of concrete and DIP drainage pipes F. 1.06 1.07 Demolition of the existing cap and tie-back system for seawalls C. D. 1.05 Site work: Site preparation, demolition, earth work, drainage facilities, utilities coordination G. Construction of king pile and concrete panel seawalls with batter pile supports and riprap per plans Furnish and install Rip-Rap Furnish and install manatee grates WORK SEQUENCE A. B. Construct Work in stages to accommodate Owner's occupancy requirements during the construction period, coordinate construction schedule and operations with Owner. Coordinate utility work to maintain service during construction. OWNER OCCUPANCY A. B. Cooperate with Owner to minimize conflict, and to facilitate Owner's operations. Schedule the Work to accommodate this requirement. WORK BY OTHERS A. The Contractor is advised that work by others will take place during the duration of the contract time. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to coordinate and schedule all work as not to delay or hinder his work or the work by others.
