July 6, 2023 City of Mercedes ADDENDUM NO. 2023-02 (A) Request for Proposals for CITY WIDE BROADBAND EXPANSION Prospective Proposers and all concerned are hereby notified of the following changes in the Request for Proposals document for the above-listed RFP. These changes shall be incorporated in and shall become an integral part of the RFP documents. 1. Page 7 of the RFP has been changed to the following: You are invited to submit Qualifications for providing CITY WIDE BROADBAND EXPANSION services within CITY OF MERCEDES city limits, to meet the needs of Government, Residential and Business subscribers. A Broadband Feasibility study was completed in preparation for this RFP with a full Needs and Gaps Analysis, High Level Network Considerations and Requirements, and Implementation Recommendations. CITY OF MERCEDES is seeking qualified broadband infrastructure and internet service providers to participate in a Public Private Partnership to address the needs and gaps as identified in the study to enhance the state of broadband within the CITY and provide a foundation for Digital Equity. A Broadband Feasibility Study has not been conducted. 2. The deadline to submit the RFP has been changed to August 21, 2023 at 3:00 P.M.
