These changes shall be incorporated in and shall become an integral part of the RFP documents. 1. The City of Mercedes is seeking vendors to be on a rotation for electrical services as needed. 2. Ohio Ave, Mercedes, Texas 78570 (956)565-3114/Fax (956)565-8592 www.cityofmercedes.com ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICES TO CITY OF MERCEDES 1.1 GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: The purpose of this proposal is to establish specifications and solicit bids to acquire the services of a licensed electrical contractor to provide labor, parts, and equipment to perform electrical services throughout CITY OF MERCEDES. This applies to projects less than $20,000. The City reserves the right to bid separately any job deemed to be in its best interest. The quantity and nature of work will vary throughout the term of this contract. Detailed Specifications are as follows: 1.2 CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS: 1.2.1 The contract period will be for a period on one (1) year with renewal options for four (4) additional one (1) year terms, if all parties agree. Contract prices are to remain fixed for the duration of the contract. 1.2.2 The terms and conditions of this contract will allow for the Contractor to Subcontract work should the need arise, however, all subcontractors must first be approved by appropriate representative of City of Mercedes. 1.2.3 Contractors’ licensing for himself and all of his employees that will be performing on the resulting contract must submit license with bid submittal. Contractor is to include a listing of all electrical employees with bid submission. 1.2.4 The Contractor will be required to do emergency services at times other than normal working hours. He shall be in a position to respond on a twenty-four hour basis, seven (7) days a week for such emergency work.
