ADDENDUM #1 RFP 22-001 SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLE COLLECTION This addendum is being issued to address questions submitted on RFP 22-001. Q1). What is a Vendor Master Form as on Page 5, Section 1.12? A1). This is a form in our AP software that includes the static information of the vendor. This requirement can be omitted since the information is also on the W-9, which is required. Q2). Please clarify Section 2.9 on Page 9 where it reads notice to proceed within 10 days. A2). The City understands the potential procurement of equipment and logistics necessary for the selected vendor before the contract can be implemented. These details can be worked out during the contract approval. Q3). Is the anticipated start date 1/1/2022? A3). As noted in A2 above, the start date can reasonably negotiated and will be worked out in the contract negotiation process. Please note that the earlier the vendor can start the better. Please add the earliest date you can start on the bid form, as this will also be used in awarding the bid. Q4). As to Page 10, Section 2.11.4, how many back door customers do you have now? A4). The City currently has about 20 customers that are back door pickup. We do require a medical note signed by a doctor stating this service is needed. Q5). As to Page 10, Section 2.11.6.2, do you accept glass in your recycling program now? A5). No, glass is not currently accepted. Q6). As to Page 15, Section 3.14, how many times a week is the 4 yard dumpster picked up at these locations: A6). Water Plant- 4 yard front loader is 1-2 times a month. We currently call when service is needed. Wastewater plant- 4 yard front loader once a week Civic Center- 6 yard front loader twice a week Main Street Community Building- 4 yard front loader once a week Fleet Maintenance- 30 yard is 1 time a month. We currently call when service is needed. Warehouse- 4 yard is once a week. Warehouse- 30 yard is 1-2 times a month. We currently call when service is needed. Q7). As to Page 15, Section 3.14, what type of materials are in the roll off containers? A7). The 30 yard at the warehouse can have concrete, wood, metal, plastic pipe, and other construction debris. The 30 yard at Fleet Maintenance mostly has metal, vehicle parts, rubber pipe, wiring, and other shop debris. 1 Continued from page 1 Q8).
